Handmade Driftwood Wall Clock – 48 × 31 cm
A one-of-a-kind handmade wall clock created from naturally weathered driftwood collected from UK beaches, bringing the character and texture of the coast into your home.
I make each clock individually in my South Yorkshire workshop, carefully arranging different pieces of driftwood to create a balanced design while retaining the natural grain, colouring, knots, markings and imperfections that make every piece unique.
This particular clock combines five contrasting pieces of naturally weathered driftwood in pale, warm and muted tones. It has plenty of character, including naturally worn edges, old fixing marks and remnants of faded colouring on one of the outer pieces – details that hint at the wood’s previous life before being washed ashore.
The clock is fitted with a silent sweeping quartz movement, so there is no constant ticking sound. This makes it particularly suitable for quieter spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms and home offices, as well as kitchens and hallways.

Natural & weathered materials
This clock is made from genuine driftwood collected from UK beaches. The wood retains signs of its previous life and exposure to the elements, which can include knots, cracks, weathering, old fixing holes, faded markings and other naturally acquired imperfections.
These features are intentionally retained where safe to do so and form part of the character of genuine driftwood rather than being considered defects.
One of a kind
The clock shown in the photographs is the exact clock you will receive. Each clock I make uses individually selected pieces of driftwood, so no two are ever exactly alike. Once this particular clock has sold, it is gone.
