Handmade Driftwood Wall Clock – One of a Kind

Handmade from individually selected pieces of naturally weathered driftwood, this unique wall clock brings the character and texture of the coast into your home.

Each piece of driftwood has its own natural colour, grain, knots, markings and weathering, which I arrange by hand to create a completely individual clock. No two clocks I make are ever exactly the same, and the clock shown in the photographs is the actual clock you will receive.

This particular clock has a tall, slender design made from five contrasting pieces of pale and naturally weathered driftwood. Unlike most of my driftwood clocks, which use black hands, this one is finished with walnut wood clock hands, giving it a softer, more natural appearance that blends beautifully with the tones of the timber.

The natural imperfections are an important part of the character of genuine driftwood. Knots, cracks, worn edges, old fixing holes, staining and other signs of its previous life may therefore be present.

Some pieces of reclaimed driftwood may also retain old weathered nail or fixing remnants. Where present, these are intentionally left as part of the wood’s character and are checked during making, but the clock should be handled with the same care as any rustic reclaimed-wood item.

The clock is supplied ready to hang and makes a distinctive feature for a living room, kitchen, hallway, coastal interior or rustic-style home.
