Large Handmade Driftwood Wall Clock – 66 × 34 cm
A large, one-of-a-kind handmade wall clock created from naturally weathered driftwood collected from UK beaches, bringing the character and texture of the coast into your home.
At approximately 66 cm tall, this is one of my larger driftwood clocks and makes a striking feature on the wall. I make each clock individually in my South Yorkshire workshop, carefully arranging different pieces of driftwood to create a balanced design while retaining the natural grain, colouring, knots, markings and imperfections that make every piece unique.
This particular clock combines five substantial pieces of pale, naturally weathered driftwood. The elongated arrangement gives it a tall, distinctive shape, while the different tones, grain patterns, old fixing marks and weathering provide plenty of natural character. Simple black hands contrast against the pale timber without taking attention away from the wood itself.
The clock is fitted with a silent sweeping quartz movement, so there is no constant ticking sound. This makes it suitable for living spaces, bedrooms and home offices as well as kitchens and hallways.

Natural & weathered materials
This clock is made from genuine driftwood collected from UK beaches. The wood retains signs of its previous life and time spent exposed to the elements, including knots, cracks, weathering, old fixing holes and remnants of heavily weathered/rusted nails.
These features are intentionally retained where safe to do so as part of the natural character of the driftwood. Each piece is checked during construction and any retained metalwork is worn/weathered rather than being left with sharp protruding edges.
Variations and imperfections in the wood are therefore part of the clock’s character rather than defects.
One of a kind
The clock shown in the photographs is the exact clock you will receive. Each clock I make uses individually selected pieces of driftwood, so no two are ever exactly alike. Once this particular clock has sold, it is gone.

The natural, understated design works particularly well with coastal, rustic, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors, and its larger proportions make it particularly suited to a feature wall or an area where a smaller clock could become lost.
Each YorkshireWoodCraft driftwood clock is handmade around the individual pieces of wood rather than made to a fixed pattern, allowing the natural shape and history of the driftwood to determine the finished design.
