Large Handmade Driftwood Wall Clock – One of a Kind

A large handmade wall clock created from individually selected pieces of naturally weathered driftwood, carefully arranged to create a completely unique piece of rustic wall decor.

At approximately 68 cm tall × 45 cm wide, this is one of my larger driftwood clocks and makes a substantial feature on the wall. The tall, irregular arrangement combines numerous individual pieces of driftwood in a mixture of natural shades, including pale weathered timber, warmer brown tones and subtle grey and pinkish hues.

Rather than trying to make each piece uniform, I retain the different shapes, grain, knots, worn edges, splits and natural markings that give the driftwood its individual character. The variation across the timber is a particularly distinctive feature of this clock.

The simple black hands provide a strong contrast against the natural wood while keeping the focus on the driftwood itself.

I make each clock individually, so the clock shown in the photographs is the exact clock you will receive.

Its larger proportions make it particularly suited to a feature wall or an area with more space, such as a living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway or home office. The combination of weathered timber and simple clock design works well with rustic, coastal, industrial and contemporary interiors.

As genuine driftwood is used, knots, cracks, splits, holes, weathering, colour variations and worn edges are all part of the individual character of the piece rather than defects.
